Divi divi tree, Aruba 2003.
Went to Aruba for my PADI Advanced Open Water Cert Class and for some wreck diving. Damaged by Hurricane Lenny in 1999, the coral reefs are slowly recovering, but are mostly intact below 30 feet. What makes Aruba unique are the number and quality of wrecks, both historic and artificial-reefs.

Florida Keys, SE North America/W North Atlantic Ocean
Florida Keys: Dives 18-37, 86-87
I know this is controversial...that I am grouping diving in the Florida Keys as part of the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico/W North Atlantic, but it makes sense from the fish and reef life you see there. The Gulf Stream carries all sorts of life from other places in the Caribbean to the Keys, which is why it has so many different species. Note that the rest of Florida has been included in North America.
